If you want spa quality products without the high prices, the Murad line is well worth a try. They have a wide range of products for just about any skin concern so you can easily customize a skin care regimen to meet your specific needs. Their Acne Complex Kit is one of the most effective treatments on the market today and the Environmental Shield products are excellent for dealing with damage caused by the elements. If you're unsure about switching, why not try replacing just one of your salon products with the equivalent from Murad, such as one of the cleansers? Check out the customer reviews as well on the products you're considering. My personal "must have" (and the first product I ever tried from this line) is their Soothing Skin & Lip Therapy. It not only keeps lips from drying and chapping without being greasy but also works to heal skin irritations like minor cuts and burns and fever blisters.

I have been using the murad acne complex line for six weeks and really love it! My pores were really large, but within a week and a half my pores were so tiny! It really keeps my skin clear, and the botanicals and antioxidants help keep my skin smooth and hydrated. Their products are definitely worth trying.

If you are talking about the Wexler Lip Plumper, in my experience yes, it works. If you use it consistently, it will actually start to build up the collagen in your lips, which will help to make them look fuller and smoother, and it will also help with those fine lines around your lips. It is a great little product! I keep the clear in my purse at all times.

Which lip plumper? There is the one from Wexler, the Super Fill lip Plumper (which is AMAZING!), or the lip gloss 2-in-1 lip plumper and gloss (which is not that great)

And like all of the Wexler products, the acne line also contains MMPi-20, which is the anti-aging ingredient the line uses.

boy, that's an easy one! The Wexler line has a great collection just for Acne. There's a trial kit that has gotten 5 stars! I would start there.

I have had some trouble with black heads on my nose. I have been using two things that I find extremely helpful. First, I use Patricia Wexler's Microbrasion Exfoliating system about 2 -3 times a week, with a little extra time around the nose area. I find this very, very helpful. I also use C. O. Bigelows Clay Mask 1 - 2 times a week to help pull any extra oil, impurties, etc, out of my skin. I have been virtually black head free and my skin looks great.

Hi, I have found that the Patricia Wexler acne products work very well for me & may for you. Maybe try the acne kit first which is enough of all the products to try for a month. I use the acne exfoliating cleanser & the acne serum 2x a day & it has really improved my skin. I also use the glyco peel pads 2x a week at night. Hope this info helps!

It may depend where you are shopping from, but as far as i know, you should be able to find a variety of Fekkai products at most Bath and Body Works stores (excluding outlets).

Question
C.O. Bigelow lip tint
I was wondering if there used to be C.O. Bigelow lip gloss that was tinted but not with the peppermint oil in it. I thought that I used to purchase this but I can not find it now. I can't stand peppermint so I don't think that what I had bought in the past had peppermint oil in it. I thought that it was spearmint or something else. Does anyone know?

Thanks

To me Spearmint has a stronger peppermint taste but maybe not. They also have lemon, lime, orange and another flavor that i believe is either strawberry or raspberry. They are in that colloection with the lighter and darker shade of color swirl on the tube. Well I really hope that helped you and I did my best with descriptions. (i apologize if they aren't the best) I love CO.Bigelow and recommend it to EVERYONE! (Especially the climate i live in. You have to have something to mosturize your lips because its so fridgid here in the winter and these products do the trick!)

Not sure what you are looking to "help."

For basic skincare, BBW stores sell the Victoria's Secret line PINK. The lotion comes in a fragrance called Fruity and Bright, that is light and smells like sweet berries. It is fragranced with blackberries and vanilla. It is very popular. It also comes in a body splash. There are also 2 other fragrance lines of PINK also sold by BBW. They are all popular, especially with young ladies. None of them are heavy or musky fragrances.

In the bbw signature collection, i've found that Sweet Pea is very popular among teenagers. If not, try the Irresistible Apple, Cucumber Melon, Mango Mandarin, or even Cherry Blossom!

Question
What is good for shiny, healthy hair without frizz?
I see these girls in mags and stuff with really smooth, great hair. But mine is dull and lifeless, and I tend to get split ends. What should I do to get hair like those girls?

The best for shiny smooth hair is the glossing shampoo and conditioner from frederick fekkai, then follow up with a small amount of glossing cream.

Question
Should I keep using the Wexler acne kit even though it's making me break out more?
I'm 26 years old and I have combination skin. It's partly oily, partly dry. Some areas get really dry, some get oily, and I get zits even when my skin is dry. Usually, my skin is fine, but it has gotten really bad this fall/winter. I switched medications and my skin got worse. Now I'm off the medication and wondering why my skin is still breaking out. I purchased the Wexler kit per the advice of the woman who gave me a facial. I've been using the Wexler products since Friday and now my entire face is oily, feels dirty, and I have more painful zits. I never get whiteheads and now I have them. Does skin always get worse before it gets better? Have I irritated my skin too much? Should I stop using it?

I have been told by dermatologists that your skin has to get worse before it can get better. If your skin is breaking out using this Anti-Acne kit, it is entirely plausible that your skin is pushing out all the 'badness', so to speak.

When you wash your face, make sure your hands are clean, and that you massage your face for 45 seconds to a minute. That gives the soap ample time to work into your pores and clean your face thoroughly. When you use a moisturizer, I highly recommend using a light one and use a VERY thin amount of it (same for the skin regenerating serum).

Too much product can cause problems. My advice for you is to use less moisturizing on your face, and give it a few more weeks. If the situation hasn't improved, consider bringing it back.

Every professional I've ever been to has told me that any serious skin changes require at least a month to be noticeable.

I think this all depends on how long you have been off medication, how long you used this after having your facial, how often you use it, etc. If you are using it according to the directions then this could be caused by the combination of all of these things at once. I have used other Wexler face products and have never had any problems. You could try giving your skin a break for a week and then starting out using the product less often to introduce it to your skin more gradually.

Question
Fekkai Glossing..
I have kind of thick, curly/wavy and a little bit frizzy hair. I've been looking for products that will actually tame the frizz and give my curls a little bit of definition. I looked at the travel-sized Glossing Cream here at Bath and Body Works. Will that work for me? Because I want it to tame the frizz, give it shine, and last longer. Will the Fekkai Glossing Cream work for my hair type?

I also have thick wavy hair that tends to get a little frizzy. I was curious about the product but was hesitant to spend the money on something that may not have worked. I got a sample of the glossing cream and quickly found out how great the product is. It not only makes your hair shiny but it tames the frizz and defines curls better than anything I have ever tried. I started using some of the other products in the line and the more fekkai glossing products you use, the better your hair looks. It never looks or feels greasy either.

I too have curly/wavy sometimes frizzy hair and my hair is color treated. I use the glossing cream and it works wonders. Use it sparingly though, a little goes a long way. Hope this helps.
