The Fekkai shimmer spray comes out easily when you wash your hair. It sprays on so light and does not leave hair sticky or stiff. I love the way it makes my dark hair look luminescent.

Apply the serum before the moisturizer both day and night. I usually let it sit on my skin for about thirty seconds before I apply my moisturizer. Leaves my skin velvety smooth.

It is hard to offer advice without knowing what sort of skin concerns you are most interested in addressing. Is acne a problem? Are you worried about the effects of aging on your skin, or wanting to get a head start on it before you start to see any signs? Are you primarily interested in cleansing products and moisturization? Perhaps eye care? There are so many products I simply cannot make a recommendation without further information. Since you live in Canada, I can understand wanting to make the best choices the first time. If at all possible, re-post your question with your specific needs included. List your skin type and any problems or concerns. It is particularly important if acne is a problem, because the Wexler line has a whole segment of products tailored for those individuals who are suffering from acne or signficantly acne-prone. Also, I would suggest reading reviews before selecting products. Of course, reviews are opinions, and you must take them with a grain of salt. But if a product consistently has great reviews or bad ones, you will likely get a general idea what the better choices are, particularly the more reviews that exist for each given product. A friend of mine with acneic skin is a huge fan of Murad's anti-acne line, and I know that Patricia Wexler's products are effective as well. However, if you are lucky enough to have oily skin without getting regular acne breakouts, I would highly recommend Caudalie's moisturizer for oily skin. My skin is very sensitive, and Caudalie makes some of the best all-natural skincare products on the market. I hope this helps!

I've never had it happen--sorry. I don't really experience a major tingling, however, from step one and that's fairly normal. I've never had step two hurt, though.
