Question

I'm on my second jar. Since it lasts so long, I kept the 1st jar and use it to transfer enough from the new jar to last a few weeks to use daily. That way the majority isn't getting exposed all the time. My first jar wasn't gritty, but it also didn't seem as velvety on my face towards the end of the jar.

I have used the Wexler products for a very, very long time and I have never experienced what you describe. Of course, that doesn't mean I think you're lying.

Like others said, I'd bring it back, and rather than just demanding a return, ask if you can look at the serum you will exchange it for before you take it home. Look at the expiration date and try to find one that has the date furthest into the future.

If you still have no success, I recommend calling customer service.

Always remember 100% satisfaction. If you are having an issue with the serum it might be a quality issue take it back to the store and have them replace it please let them know of the issue and look at the new one to make sure before you leave the store. Customer Satisfaction is always number 1 on the list.

Question
Best Heat protectant for Hair
I have natually curly hair that I use a Chi flat iron to straighten from time to time, but when I do this too often my ends get dry and split. I have fine hair and I use a Chi serum, but it's not doing the job. What would recommend I use to help repair and protect my hair from blow drying and flat ironing?

The store I shop at carries a line of products called Warren-Tricomi. I LOVE the Blow Dry Lotion from them. It's liquid Shea Butter and even though my hair is thin, this product does the trick without weighing down my hair.

I have very curly hair and I straighten it 1-2 times a week. I would suggest using the Frederic Fekkai Protein RX line to help protect your hair when heat styling and to also give it the nutrients that it needs to repair any damage. When styling use the Fekkai Smoothing Cream to rehydrate the hair and it will leave it smooth and frizz free.

There is a line in the Fekkai products called Protein Rx. Basically, it is a shampoo and conditioner and hair mask trio that helps bring damaged hair back up to it's natural, non-damaged levels. It helps with overprocessed or just flat-out damaged hair. I would definitely recommend giving that a try. Other than that, if you can get away with flat-ironing your hair once in awhile, it would definitely help.
The Protein Rx made a noticeable difference in how my hair looked. There were less fly-aways and what appeared to be less split ends. The one product I love is the hair mask. If you do no other product, do the reparative hair mask in the Protein Rx line.

Ok i have two things. First I would use the Fekkai protein rx reparative spray this will repair the damage that has occurred. This next one is optional. You can use the Fekkai coiff controle ironless straightening blow-out balm. This will help when you use the flat iron. Well i hoped i help.

Question
What tinted moisturizer shade is right for me?
I'm going to be in the sun, and love the idea of a tinted moisturizer -but i don't want it to be too pale (or) too dark for my skin. I'm fair, and i tend to burn before i tan.

If you are fair, I would recommend the pale. However, if you can get into the store you should be able to try a shade or two out before you purchase. If you can, put a little bit of the moisturizer on either the inside of your wrist or underneath your jaw line. Whichever shade blends the best is the one that you should go with. However, if you can't get in the store and have to purchase online Bath and Body works has a 100% guarentee on it's products, so if the shade doesn't work for you, it is very easy to return/exchange it.

I am very light naturally and i burn more than i tan so i would go with the light. and you wont really have to worry about it being too pale because it is only a tint not a cover up it works with your natural skin tone.

Try the light shade. I'm also very light skinned. It isn't too dark, and is creamy looking rather than pale when you put it on.

Question
What type of cleanser would you recommend for combination skin?
I used to use a acne cleanser but it caused my skin to become extremely dry, to the point of flakiness. I then switched to a cream/milk cleanser but that didn't get my skin clean and then I started breaking out again. Please help!

I really like CO Bigelow's Vitamin Boost Gel Cleanser for normal to oily skin. My skin always feels clean and refreshed after washing with it. It has a bit of salycilic acid in it. It does not dry my skin out.

I have combination skin, oily t zone with normal/dry everywhere else. I have used the Wexler Universal Anti-Aging Cleanser and I am very happy with it. However, I have found that if I use it in conjunction with her Microbrasion Exfoliater (using that 2-3 x's a wk) I have fabulous results! My skin is beautifully clear and baby soft. I have been using her skin care for about a year and this is the happiest I have ever been with the condition of my skin.

The foaming cleanser in the Wexler line is perfect for combo skin. The great thing about her line is that it will not dry your skin out, you might even be able to try the universal cleanser if the foaming cleanser isnt moisturizing enough.

I would also recommend the Wexler Anti Aging kit for you. This is how I was introduced to the Wexler products and I am very happy with the kit. I have branched out to a few other products in her line and one that I think you may like is her 3 - 1 eye cream. It helps lift, firm, and help with anti-aging. I love the texture of this cream (it's very souffle like) and since I have been using it, I have very few "puffy eye" out breaks. The best tip I could give you is with anything you try, keep at it. When I started using the Wexler line, my skin started breaking out. I was concerned, but I found out that this was it's way of working...clearing out any impurties that were in my skin and what not. It lasted about a week and a half and then I saw some amazing results, and haven't turned back since.

I would recommend starting with a kit to help you decide which products work best for you.

http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3204618&cp=&sr=1&kw=wexler+kit&origkw=wexler+kit&parentPage=search

This is my favorite kit, it includes a cleanser, a day time moisturizer, an eye cream, and the full size intensive night reversal and repair cream with a coupon to try the serum.

You should try using the foaming cleanser, It has saliycilic acid to help brighten the skin and wont dry your skin out. If it does then the universal cleanser would be great. The anti-aging serum would be your next step, after a weeks use your skin will feel like silk. Then you want to moisturize, If you have no issues as far as age spots or intense wrinkles the universal moisturizer should do. Your last step should be the intensive 3 in 1 eye cream..its the best! Hope this helps you!

If you are just looking for a general cleanser and moisturizer try the CO Bigelow line. They have just released some new products which I haven't tried but I love the Oil-free lotion and the Eye Depuff cream.

It's hard to say. Everybody's skin chemistry is very different. Some people go through their teenage years without a single pimple, and then get years and years of them in their 20s or 30s. Body and Genetics play a huge favor.

As far as natural products, for acne, there isn't many. I would look into the Murad line, personally, as I've heard very good things about the line.

There is a good amount of organic and natural BODY care, but nothing that I am aware of for acne.

it depends on which products your referring to. the Bath&Body products, Spa&Aromatherapy work well for whoever. When it comes to hair it depends on your hair type I'm mixed. [african & chinese] my hair texture is fine and i use just about anything, my sister on the other hand has hair that's more course and thick we don't use the same hair products. she prefers to always go to the salon. I use anything i choose at home. So basically it depends on your hair texture.

All products that Bath and Body Works sells are suitable for people of all genders, races, and otherwise.

I would not be shopping at a store if it catered to only one clientele. Even if that were the case, there's nothing in these products that make them right or wrong for people just on what gender they are or what their skin color is.

The important thing you need to think about is your skin type. If you have drier skin, you'll want to use a heavier lotion, such as the Body Butter. If you have oilier skin, you'll want to use a thinner lotion or moisturizer.

I'm not sure what products your talking about, but I don't see why any of these products would be bad for you to use. They don't usually make products based on people's skin color. But that's my opinion, maybe someone at their 800 # can help answer that question better.

You can alway rely on the Wexler line for great results. Currently though, I'm using the CO Bigelow Eye Depuff Cream and love it. I put it on before my makeup in the morning and before going to bed. Try to get a lot of rest, drink plenty of water, and do NOT rub you eyes to help reduce the darkness.

I don't use any of the eye products that BBWs sells but I know that if you put whatever product that you do buy in the fridge that it will help to calm your puffiness down and also feel really good at the same time.

yes the wexler under eye brightening cream will help with the darkness and the de-puff eye gel helps with especially puffy eyes. You can use both or decide which problem is the most important to you. Puffy eyes can often be reduced simply by drinking more fluids. The eye creams only need to go on once or twice a day, and do not require other products but the entire regimen is pretty simple and takes little time.
