Can gift cards be used for semi-annual sale items?

Yes, they can. Gift cards are good on ALL merchandise, regardless of promotion or sale price.
The reason for it is because the currency represented on the gift card is basically money. Someone paid to put the amount of money on your gift card. It is effectively cash good at Bath and Body Works.
The only exception are the coupons. Only coupons that are mailed together may be used together. Otherwise, it's one coupon per transaction, and they are not typically accepted during the semi-annual sale due to the already insanely low prices.

Actually, just about every product in the VIP bag is a full-sized product.
Full Sized:

-Look Ma, New Hands Softening Hand Lotion
-Aromatherapy Pulse-Point Headache Relief.
-Mentha Tingling Foot Cream (awesome).
-Eucalyptus Spearment Stress-Relief Body Wash.
-Japanese Cherry Blossom foaming hand sanitizer.
-A bronze colored loofah sponge.
Trial Size:
-Small vial of Black Amethyst Eau de Toilette.
-a small dish of the MMPi Skin Regenerating Serum (about a month's supply or so).
It is an insanely good value, and people would be foolish to pass it up.

There are none with different scents in 1 basket that I have come across over my 2 or 3 years of being a B&BW customer, but from my personal experiences, it is easy enough just to pick a couple scents that look like they would fit nicely together. I usually use Cucumber Melon and Rainkissed Leaves or Sea Island Cotton, all very clean and crisp scents.

The only way to do that would be to "Create Your Own Gift". Buy the fragrances you like, and then buy an empty basket or bag.

The Lambie ballerina slippers say 'one size fits most' any sz 10's out there? Do they fit us?
I don't live near a B&W so I don't want to request them if they don't fit. What is the largest foot size are they comfortable with? I have read that a sz 7 is very loose.

I have then and have size 11 feet and nope they don't fit me. They might work for a ten though. I would go with the socks instead if you want to be sure.

My foot is a size 6 1/2 or 7, and they are loose, but not very loose. I would advise anyone that is a size 10 to get the regular slippers instead. I dont think the ballerina slippers would be big enough on a size 10 to be comfortable. The good news is, all are equally cute and comfy!

I think it depends on who the gift is for. for your mother, probably would want to add something more. For a teacher, probably OK alone. As a thank you for someone, I think it would be OK. They are so cute & I'm trying to get my hands on one! I am planning on buying & putting wtih with a couple of other small gifts for my niece. I even thought you could order the set of 20 and divide them up to give.

Are the mini cupcakes enough for 1 bath?
I'm glad to know that the cupcakes smell as wonderful as I thought they would. I am curious, however, as to the size. There's the 5 oz regular size & the 2 oz minis. The minis are so much smaller than the regular size that I wonder if it would take 2 for a bath. Anyone know? Thanks!

i've only used the regular size, but I think the smaller would be okay. probably up to personal preference if you use one or two. for me it was just fun :)

-pull up the stopper on your tub
-place the whole cupcake under the running water (the whole cupcake and everything on it dissolves in the water and washes down the drain)
-the bath water fizzes, bubbles, turns the water the predominant color of the cupcake, and smells amazing
-after activating, the bath water turns frothy and luxurious
-the cupcakes leave your skin smooth and soft-without feeling oily or too dry
