I love the pillow mists!

I think you have to be at least sleepy for them to work. If I'm not a little drowsy, if I'm wide awake, pillow mist isn't gonna cut it.

Sadly, my fave was d/c'd (Warm Milk and Honey) but I remain hopeful that enough people enjoyed it that it will be resurrected some day. I have a few bottles in reserve. Second best is Lavender Vanilla. Sometime I like Black Chamomile - a very different and unique scent.

I agree with oh so many reviewers - make body mists, in all the Aromatherapy lines please!

I absolutely love all of the aromatherapy products but the pillow mist is one of my all time favs because it's the first product that introduced me to their aromatherapy products. I have a sleep condition so I was looking for a non medicinal alternative and this is definately it! I have a little ritual I do every night before I go to bed. I spray the pillow mist over my bed linens and also on my curtains. I then take a bath (sometimes with the dream bath or the bath salts) and put on the body lotion. About an hour before I am fully ready to hit the sack, I plug in the scentport. I am out in about ten to twenty minutes from my head hitting the pillow! I have been doing this for about two years and it has worked ever since! The only thing that has change is I alternate between the Lavender Chamomile and the Warm Milk and Honey and I keep adding products!!! They just came out with an aromatherapy room spray that I am dying to try!

The Aromatherapy sleep pillow mist is one
of my favorite products in the line.I do cheat
and spray my fragrance of choice on my pajamas and both sides of the pillow. It works
well on my Lambie Blanket or a little Lambie to cuddle with too. It has not stained any fabric that I have in use. Restful sleep is wonderful!

I believe you have to be at least sleepy for it to work. If you are wide awake, or just drank several caffeinated beverages, the Instant Aromatherapy won't work miracles for you. But if you are close to sleep but somethinig is bugging you, and all you need is a little nudge, something in the Instant Aromatherapy line like Sound Sleep may just be all you need to drift off to dreamland. Even if you are still wide awake, you can reap some benefits like stress relief and relaxation, which can ultimately lead to your ability to fall asleep.

Instant Aromatherapy can work wonders for many people. Some of it depends on your willingness to accept its benefits. But keep realistic expectations in mind. It is not an "on-off" switch for sleep, etc., at least probably not for most of us without a pre-existing susceptible state (i.e. sleepiness).

A friend of mine started using it and swore by it. After hearing from her multiple times how much she loved the stuff I figured what did I have to lose. I bought one of the pillow mists in the travel size and gave it a try. I LOVE IT!! I then went on to buy the big size of the pillow mist along with the dream bath and body lotion to use at night to help me go to sleep. I really think it helps relax your mind and body not to mention it keeps your sheets smelling fresh. My husband even asks me to spray his side of the bed with the pillow mist to help him sleep!

I also have experienced problems with wall units not working after a short period of time, but it has almost exclusively been the scentports. I love the intense fragrance output they provide but I have had to replace them all much much quicker than the wallflowers. I've found the lighted ones last a bit longer than the reular ones.

after a while they do seem to not work as well, but try cleaning them out with a cotton ball and white vinegar. It also may be how much power is actually coming out from the electrical outlet. I have also heard it depends on the temperature of your home. Of course some scents are stronger than other. Those in the white barn/silver boxes tend to be the stronger ones. Scentports are a lot stronger than wallflowers, so I mainly keep those in larger areas such as living room, family room, kitchen areas. I've had my wallflowers plugged in for about 3 years now and haven't had a problem with them. After a while when they get too dirty, I just buy a new unit, but none have stoped working. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones!

I have had a few of the wallflowers that I thought weren't working anymore, but in reality they were. The problem is that some scents are not as strong, so you need two wallflowers in the room

Question
Would you use the Pillow Mist as a Body Spray?
I love the smell of the Aromatherapy line--Lavender & Vanilla and the new Black Chamomile. Do you think it would be ok to wear the pillow mists as body sprays? Or do they smell too much like an air freshener/home fragrance?

Thanks! =)

I agree with the previous poster. The pillow mist does not seem to "stick" to your body. The scent is very light. I get better results by layering the body wash with lotion, then a touch of massage oil rubbed in.

Anyone form BBW reading this PLEASE MAKE THE ESSENCE SPRAYS!!!!!!

We are sick of pillow misting ourselfs!!!
Thanks!

I use the Black Currant and Vanilla Pillow Mist as a body spray. It's very light, so I have to layer it. I use the body wash, then the body lotion, and then the massage oil in place of a body oil... and then the Pillow Mist on my clothing as a body spray.

So far, I haven't gotten any kind of sensitive skin reaction - but to be honest - I don't have very sensitive skin. Hmm... I wonder when they're going to make a Body Essence for all the aromatherapy lines. I know they have one for Sandalwood Rose. It would be nice to stop Pillow Misting myself!

I wouldn't recomend it, but if you have no reaction you can. I shouldn't stain anything, but its not made to mix with body heat and your own body's smell. If you really want to, I would try a little on your arm on a day when your at home and see how it works with you. If there is no reaction and it still smells great after a few hours then I would call it ok. The best way to have the smell on you without a splash is called layering. Try using the body wash or bubble bath and then the lotion. Then the smell will last longer on your skin. I also work at a BBW so just go into your home store and ask someone about it. They would love to help. Plus if it doesn't work out, bring it back and you can gety something else with no hassle! Hope this helps!!

I really enjoy the Warm Milk and Honey, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't used it as a cologne a few times. The thing is, the fragrances aren't supposed to be really strong. When you are going to sleep, intense fragrances distract you and keep you up, so it's only natural that the pillow mists have very light fragrance.

While I don't think there's anything quote-un-quote wrong with using the pillow mist as a body splash, I don't think the scent will stay on you very long, even if you do layer it with the Body Lotion or Shower Gel. Still, I do enjoy having my clothes smell like Warm Milk and Honey. Yum!

If you like the Lavender scent, check out Moonlight Path - there is lavender in there. That would definitely stay on you a lot longer!

I really love the True Blue Spa products! As others have said, the Heel of Approval is really amazing. I also really love the Foot Loose and Fancy Fizz foot bath, it has a great soothing scent and the fizzing action feels great on my feet. Also, I would recommend trying the Spa Booties that they offer. They are a real treat on your feet! You just put on your favorite foot cream and then slip the booty on (after adding tap water to the booty). The boot heats up and just gives you this really pampering at home experience. After your done, your feet are super soothed and soft. I try to use them every other week becasue I am on my feet all the time and this really helps to revive them!

There truly is nothing else out there like Heel of Approval ! Prior to using this, when I'd have professional pedicures they would have to shave my caluses every time (ouch!). After two months of use (2x weekly at night with socks) I had my next pedicure - they didn't have to use the razor at all! I had known that I was happy with the way my feet felt, but that was all the proof I needed - I'll never stop using it!

I love the TBS collection for my feet. My personal favorites are the Toe the Line, Heel of Approval, and Shea It Isn't So. The foot soak is another one I like, the fizzing one.

Anyway, I work for BBW and I would be honest with you if the product wasn't worth the buy. It won't be quite the same quality as a professional pedicure, but it will still do the job well and it's very easy to use. Hope this helped!

It smells like vanilla, not strong, but subtle and sweet. I use the hand cream and it lasts throughout the day, even after washing my hands with soap and water several times throughout the day. It keeps a light layer on your skin, it is not greasy at all. It makes your skin feel silky smooth. The scent lingers throughout the day also. Hope this helps.

Anti-aging ingredients include green and white tea extracts and shea butter also helps to avoid stretching and scarring, so it should help with wrinkles as well. Try washing your hands with a moisturizing soap like antibac moisturizing or like butter from TBS, then moisturize with new shea cashmere or look ma, new hands. My personal favorite is CO Bigelow's quince hand cream because it absorbs quickly.

Check out the sleep line in the Aromatherapy - BBW will give you a sample so you can see which one your niece would prefer - the lavendar chamomile, black chamomile, lavendar vanilla, or milk and honey. Have you thought about a bath salt/soak to relieve the ache? There are many different ones. I got my friend the Motlon Brown Stress Relieving HyrdoSoak. She uses it in a bath before bed and it helps relax. I was in a nearly fatal car accident which temporarily left my left side impaired. I enjoyed having the creams and massage oil on me. It really helped me relax plus breath in that wonderful scents (which leads to happy thoughts) and the loving touch rubbing my back always work wonders. Especially when I was confined to bed rest for 6 weeks. In fact the same friend I mentioned had given me the Euclayptus since it helps destress and helps reduce scar tissue. Keep up the love :)

This particular product from the aromatherapy line should not interfere with any of the medical treatments. It is not like a detox treatment from a spa and does not have any of the chemicals like some treatments have. The chamomile encourages sleep while the bambo charcoal extract promotes stress and relaxation to detoxify your body. The aroma line uses the most luxurious essential oils and absolutes in their products and this is one of my favorites. It is limited edition though, only for holiday.

I'm not sure about using the Detox products but I will tell you their Spa products made a world of difference for my grandfater while he was going through Chemo. His problem was that it was drying out his skin so I purchased him the Lay It On Thick and their Shea Butter bar of soap. His doctor told him that he had never seen a Chemo patients skin in such great condition and asked him what he was using so he could tell his other patients. I'm sure that using their sleep pillow sparys would help her sleep better, I enjoy them myself. Best wishes for her and your family.

Hi Celia,
First I want to offer my support to your niece. Going through Chemo is difficult on the body and mind. It's so nice of you to want to offer her comfort now.
The treatments may make her nauseous and more sensitive to certain scents. A mild fragrance like Lavender Chamomile is one she may be able to tolerate. I have the pillow mist and it's very calming.
