LOVE them. I totally dislike flip flops and I am a Californian girl. It would give me blisters and just flop. But I heard so much good reviews about Fit Flops so I thought why not, I can return it if I dont like it. I loved it so much I bought another pair and my mom bought a pair and my friends want to buy a pair. I wish it was cheaper but you are paying for QUALITY. I even wear this cute brown sequinned one for going out.

Fit flops are super confirtable although I did not notice any visible improvement or have any soreness. My thought was since they are so comfortable, you do more without realizing it. Either way, they're comfirtable, durable, and I have the black patent pair and wear them with everything. Worth the hefty price!

I was very doubtful that the fitflop would be able to do much of anything, but I bought a pair anyways because of Bath and Body's amazing return policy. I wore them all day for three days in a row and I could barely walk up stairs because my legs were so sore. Now, I love them! They were such a great investment, you just need to moderate how long you wear them. Like any workout, you need to gradually work your way up.

I'm sure you've probably made up your mind already you posted the question three months ago, but maybe you're like me that has to keep going back to make sure. Anyway, i was in your position exactly one year ago, I always used flip flops but my ancles would hurt after walking long distances. I finally convinced myself to buy them and they are amazing!!! My feet did not hurt after visiting all 4 Disney parks!!! I did come home sore because they worked my legs out great! Just before I bought them I was starting to worry about the mischivous dimples that appear on the back of legs and they are gone! my legs have been toned since, Now that it's winter I purchased their winter shoe the Gogh which I love as well, can't wear another shoe.

I bought a pair about a year ago. I have had 4 knee surgeries, and usually suffer pain with about any shoe I wear. The surgeries affected my hip/lower back as well from walking with a limp. After putting on the fit flop for the first time, there was no pain! Anywhere!!! I LOVE them. I noticed my legs and rear were more toned! And they did make my legs sore the first couple times! Especially on long walks...so take it slow at first!

I bought a pair of fitflops last spring and found them very comfortable wearing around the house. But when I brought them on vacation, the first time I wore them on a walkway along the beach (about 30 min.), I got a blister on the bottom of my heal, which I had to suffer with the rest of my vacation. I haven't worn them since. I would not recommend them to my friends.

They are incredibly comfortable. As previous commenters wrote, they aren't going to restructure your body, but they wear well and are worth the price. I have three pairs, and even bought "toe socks" so I can wear them in cold weather!

Hi,
I was sceptical at first. I don't really wear flip flops, but I needed any extra help toning! I noticed a difference right away. I could feel muscles stretching. Later I noticed the overall toning effect. I also noticed when I didn't wear them as often. The cushioning is great. My feet feel great after wearing them because they are so cushioned and supported. I would definately recommend them immediately!!!

i have had my pair since last year and they are the best pair of shoes i own. I use to frequently get lower back pain when wearing flats or other shoes and when i wear the fit flops i do not get the pain. I can't say that my butt and legs have totally been resculped but i can say that after wearing them for a long period of time, the day after i do feel a little sore. they are meant to mimmick the action of barefoot walking on the beach so they work your muscles more and cushion them to prevent bad muscle aches.

Hi Ling,
I bought a pair when they first came out. That pair is still holding up well too. I have a review up here.
Fit Flops are very comfortable. They don't really "flop" since the strap keeps these on your feet better than the typical flip flop design.
The soles are thick and well cushioned, more like sneaker bottoms. This is much better for your foot than the usual flip flop also.
Though I've never noticed substantial toning from these I do feel a slight pull when I wear them.
Overall I think they are excellent for the price.

I bought my first pair 4 years ago, online from the UK, before BBW started selling them. I now have 4 pairs. I can't tell you that they totally altered my butt and legs but I can tell you that they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The cushioning is substantial and not mushy like thick flip flops.
They do provide rear end and leg exercise because after not wearing them for a season I have that "just exercised" feeling after starting them again. They are worth ever penny they cost. Living in Myrtle Beach, SC, I am able to wear sandals 9 months out of the year and I wear my fit flops. I don't even bother with wasting my money on other shoes, now. Hope this helps. Nan

one thing i've observed over time in the store is that some pregnant women seem to get ill from the muskier scents, so i suggest avoiding those unless you can be fairly certain they will be agreeable.

Actually, pregnant women are supposed to stay away from aromatherapy as it alters your body chemistry and is warned against. For my preggy cousin, I purchased a lot of spa products (esp the foot products since she's on her feet for work all day) and purchased stress relief products for after she gives birth; when she'll really need it haha

As for stress relief and overall rest, I would suggest the Warm Milk and Honey. Very soothing and calming, with a great light scent. As for the issue of pregnancy, I would say the Mega Butter is your best bet. The shea butter will sooth the tight, itchy belly and provide excellent moisture; the consistancy is soft and creamy and easy to apply. Hope this helps!

Although the Eucalyptus Spearmint is designated as the antistress scent, I find that the two newest SLEEP scents (Black Chamomile, Milk and Honey) do wonders for me more than any other scent I've tried when I just want to unwind after a stressful day. (I'm not pregnant, but I CAN attest to the relaxing qualities in both these lines!)

They both help me clear my mind when it's time to go to bed, but I also like to use them during my days off and evenings to relax.

Both lines have coordinating bath products (crystals, bubbles),body lotions, pillow/linen sprays, and home fragrance oils that all do miracles when used together!

Good luck!

Shea Cashmere Body Lotion
I don't know if I spelled it right but has anyone tried the Shea Cashmere lotion? It seems a little pricey, I wanted to know what other people think about it before I purchase it. Is the quality and scent worth the price tag? What is it supposed to smell like? Any details are appreciated.

The Shea Cashmere is fabulous. The reason for the product was that Shea Butter, while an intensely moisturizing substance, is very thick, and most products with shea butter tend to be a little intense for your hands or body. It tends to be thicker, and leaves a little more of a residue, especially on your hands.

Shea Cashmere takes the benefits of shea butter and mates it with cashmere extract. Cashmere is insanely soft and silky, and by combining the two, Bath and Body Works was able to create a product that appeals to customers who enjoy the rich benefits of shea, without the downside.

The only potential negative is that it has a strong fragrance. It smells a lot like a butter-cream frosting, and some people may not like that frosting kind of scent. The product is definitely quality, even though it is pricey.

I have a few of the Shea Cashmere products and to me, they smell like butterscotch hard candies. I am willing to overlook that (I don't normally like sweet scents) for the amazing feel of the hand cream, body cream & bubble bath - you can really feel the cashmere! Just be aware though, the Shower Cream left a really sticky feeling on my skin, almost like residue from tape.

The Shea Cashmere is my absolute favorite bath and body works lotion. I would suggest going into the store and smelling it first because it has a very strong coco butter like scent. I love it but I know others don't like the scent. It is an amazing moisturizer because it actually has cashmere fibers in the lotion for softness and it also has shimmer in it. The only thing about it is, since the fibers are so soft, the lotion on my skin almost feels like it is really greasy. I tend to put it on in the bathroom and get stuck in there because I can't turn the door knob.

It smells like frosting to me. If you like the scent then thats the first step before buying. The next step is seeing how it feels on your skin. Shea Cashmere is thick but not too thick like Lay It On Thick from True Blue Spa. So if you like it buy it. The reason its so pricey is because it has Cashmere extract and as you know Cashmere is a little pricey. Well hoped i helped.

The reason it's so pricey is because it has cashmere extract in it, which makes your skin feel fantastic. The quality of the product is very awesome, however I've heard a few complaints about the scent. Some people say it smells horrible on their skin, others say they love it. the scent is very similar to a warm vanilla sugar kind of scent. So if that smells good on you I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product.

Speaking only of the Signature lines in current scents, I'd say Warm Vanilla Sugar is pretty gender-neutral. My hubbie likes it. When used alone (not layered with lotions, EDT, etc) it really doesn't linger on the skin after a shower. This is really true of all Signature shower gels - not much scent retention, although they have reformulated them to carry a bit more fragrance.

I don't like Ranikissed Leaves, but if your man likes "green" scents, he might like it. Some men aren't into fruity or strong floral scents. My hubbie does like Wild Honeysuckle, though.

The Aromatherapy lines have body washes and I think many work well for men and women. Both the mints, orange ginger maybe, and black chamomile (some women don't like it, but I do).

There are others, but they've been mentioned so I won't repeat.

Given this is posted in the Aromatherapy/Spa section, I will recommend those products.

For Aromatherapy, guys tend to love the Eucalyptus Spearmint, Orange Ginger, and Tranquil Mint fragrances. They are strong, and gender neutral.

I would also recommend looking at the C.O. Bigelow Elixir Collection for men. They have several great scents - a marine scent, a musk scent, a woods scent, and a clean scent.

I think that all the aromatherapy line of products are "man friendly" except perhaps the jasmine vanilla. It might be too floral for a guy, and for me, its the only one I can smell later in the day on my hair. So guys might not want that. I think the ginger orange would be a good man scent. Kids like the eucalyptus mint (and guys do too)... have fun with it. If he doesn't like it, guess what? its YOURS! ;)

body lotions are water based as creams are oil based the creams have a longer lasting fragrance due to the oil concentration but it all depends on your skin too if you need more moisture i would go with the cream the lotions absorb faster and are better if you just want something light and not real heavy. the lotions tend to be better for warmer climates or times of the year because you don't always want that greasy feeling.

the lotions have vitamin a,c, e in them
the creams have avocado oils in them so they both have great benefits it just depends on what your looking for

go to your local BBW and ask to try both and see which one you like!

Body cream is the middle in consistency between body lotion and body butter. Body lotion tends to be more for the fragrance, if you're looking at one of the signature body care scents and for some one who doesn't need a lot of moisture. Creams do give you quite a bit of scent but are much thicker. Everyone I have talked to has recommended creams rather than lotions. Even dermatologists! And if you want to get the most moisture out of the product, apply it right after you come out of the shower within the next 5 minutes before your pores close up so it all gets absorbed in. By doing this I have definitely noticed a difference!

The Signature Collection Body Lotion is a great jack-of-all-trades lotion. It does things well, but nothing exceptionally well. It doesn't really 'specialize.' It is fantastic for your hands, as it doesn't leave them overly greasy, and it is a decent moisturizer for the body, but I don't recommend it during the harsh winters or if you have sensitive skin.

The Body Creams, on the other hand, are slightly thicker, and are the middle of the road in terms of thickness. It is thicker than the Body Lotion but much thinner than the Body Butters. The Body Creams are a better moisturizer for your body, and will be much better suited to combat the dry skin that comes with winter. It does, however, leave your hands slightly greasy.

My recommendation? Get the Body Cream if you have moderately dry skin or need something for winter. If you have very badly dried skin, try the Body Butter. If you've got normal skin, stick with the Body Lotion.

Body creams are richer in texture and have more of the essential oils in them than that of the lotions. The richer texture will nourish dry skin more effectively & may also provide skin repair & anti-aging benefits. Lotions are good also especially during the warmer seasons allowing the skin to breathe while the lotion penetrates more with the help of your body's warmth.

Why do the Scentports only last 2 weeks max????

They seem to last about 2-3 weeks for me.

I checked with a close famlily member who is an electrical engineer and DIY guy. Unless you have an old house with some faulty wiring, the voltage across different outlets should not vary enough to make any difference in scentport life.

If you look down inside the scentport, the back curved wall is the heating surface. The "wick" needs to be as close as possible to this heated surface to heat the volatile fragrance oils and "throw" the fragrance. The further away the wick is, the poorer the throw, but the longer the bottle will last.

In my experience, most fragrance bottles (which go in either side forward) will have one direction that places the wick closer to the warming plate and one where the wick is further away.

If you want more fragrance, the wick needs to be closer to the warming surface. But it will run out of oil faster.

I agree with many. The product needs some improvement in development and performance. And I've always liked having a dial for fragrance intensity, myself (or a least a switch for low/high).

First off, I have experienced the same issue. I have also experienced a problem with them burning too hot and changing colors and getting a thicker, carmelized consistency.

I have a theory on this. I believe that the wattage/voltage of your household outlet dictates how fast or how hot the Wallflowers and Scentports burn.

The Scentports, by design, diffuse warmer than the Wallflowers, and as a result, burn quicker. I have outlets in my house where the Scentports last 4-6 weeks, and others where I'm lucky to get a few weeks out of them.

So, I wouldn't say that it's false advertising, per se, but something that is affected by how hot outlets may burn. To be honest, I tend to stick with Wallflowers in most of my house, except the larger rooms. It's cheaper, and I know they will last longer.

It is my understanding that the scentports have a stronger fragrance, but don't last as long as the wallflowers because so much of the fragrance escapes at once. The entire rear of the scentport is open, while the wallflower only has a few holes at the top. I switched back to wallflowers, as most of the scents are in both. But remember BBW has a 100% guarentee on it's products and I would encourage you to return any items you are not fully satisfied with.

I would say this year, overall, Twisted Peppermint has been a very popular seller, all around at least.

Vanilla Bean Noel has a very popular following, and has been a very popular Body Lotion this year, but hasn't really seen the product-wide sales that Twisted Peppermint has.

Still, all three are quite popular, and trends differ from location to location - in the end it's all about what you like the most.

I've given both the Men's BBW collection (Glacier Bay) and Molton Brown (he prefers the Cassia Sports product to the Black Pepper Re-charge).

I've also given him CO Bigelow products in Green Elixir before, and Stress Relief mint in Aromatherapy.

So there are many options for men.

My husband has the whole Glacier Bay collection. At first when I bought it for him he thought it was going to be girly fufu stuff. After he used it he has actually asked me to get more for him.

You can consider True Blue Spa's I'm in the Mood for Scrub Foaming Body Bath with Shea Butter Beads or Shave the Day Silky Smooth Shave Cream. My male colleague recommended these for my husband.

I have a guy friend, and his favorite fragrance is Cool spring, so I get him that every year. This year I got him the shave gel, cologne, and shower gel.

Yes! The C.O. Bigelow line makes good gifts for guys. My brother likes the Elixir Blue men's line and my boyfriend likes the Dr. Hiosous Quince Hand Lotion and the C.O. Bigelow face moisturizer for normal to dry skin. The Anthony Logistics products would make a good gift for a guy with a more discerning taste. Hope this helps!

I have one from last year and this year. Last years I washed with reg. laundry soap and found no issues. This years one I use Woolite and it works beautifully. The blanket stays nice and soft. I found that hanging it over the top of the dryer or using a clip hanger it drys in a half hour!

I bought one a few weeks ago, and I'll be returning it. It is machine washable, but the tag says line dry only. I don't know if it's a different material than last year's because I see others put it through the dryer, but the tag clearly insinuates no dryer.

I have two of the lambie blankets from last year - the same exact material, and have washed them numerous times, and they are still soft as ever! They are able to be washed through the regular washer and dryer - on the tag it says Machine wash - low temperature and Tumble Dry - low temperature.

I agree with the others about the Bigelow products. I have been in health care for over 20 years and I wash my hands a lot...These are by far the BEST hand care products I have ever used! Within 3-7 days all of my cracked, bleeding, sore hand problems were gone! I use the cleanser mostly at night since I cannot use it in the car when I see patients, but even the once a day good application helps. That, and of course applying the chapped hand cream or the quince during the day. I have not tried the suggestion of mixing a little scrub with the cleanser but it sounds like a great idea! The scrub helps exfoliate to allow your skin to absorb the moisturizers. I want to try the body wash and cream as well... but for now my favorites are the TBS products. Good Luck!

The Beauty Wave hand gloves are amazing.
They are infused with jojoba and olive oils to moisturize your hands. They can be used alone or with your favorite hand treatment for further moisturizing. I recommend Look Ma New Hands also from True Blue Spa.
You wont be disappointed.

There are a bunch of things that would help your hands. The gel-lined gloves are great! I've had mine for years and i love them. I do an entire hand treatment:
First, I take the C.O. Bigelow chapped hands cleanser and apply it to my dry hands, focusing on cuticles and any really dry rough patches. Then, I take a bit of the Just a Minute manicure scrub and add it to the cleanser and scrub away. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Then apply a really good hand cream. I think you would benefit from the Chapped Hands Remedy (also from C.O. Bigelow) and put on the gloves for and hour or two. While you wear them the moisturizers will sink deeply into your skin. I love them, especially when nothing else seems to help my hands, I use lotion with the gloves and it makes a huge difference. I only wash them when they really need it, hand wash and drip dry. I think you'll really like them. :)

They are amazing! Try them with Look Ma! New Hands lotion (about a pea-size drop...a little goes a long way!). Put them on in the evening as you sit down to enjoy your favorite tv show. Within 30 minutes you will see an improvement. The gel helps the lotion really soak into your skin, giving it the maximum moisture that your skin needs.
Make sure that you wash your hands prior to putting the lotion/gloves on so that you keep your gloves clean. They are not machine washable, but there are special 'washing' instructions inside the package, I do believe.
Totally worth it! You won't regret it!

The Beauty Queen Wave Gel Gloves from True Blue Spa are simply divine! I get cracked hands whenever I work with cardboard or paper and after I get home from work, I slather on Look Ma, New Hands and plop on the couch with my gel gloves on... and it's like divine intervention with my rough hands!!!
I really like using the Just A Minute Scrub to take the dry skin off before I slather on Look Ma, New Hands.

I have not personally tried them, but many of my friends absolutely love them. A lot of professionals recommend that you put gloves over your hands (after putting lotion on, of course!) before going to bed, so it can really soak up into your skin.
My personal recommendation to you if you are experiencing really cracked hands would be to buy the C.O. Bigelow Derma-Remedy hand cream. It has a slightly off-putting smell, but C.O. Bigelow is an apothecary that specializes in remedies for skin and body ailments. The Derma-Remedy may smell, but it works better than most of the products on cracked or dry hands. Put that on and wear some gloves, and I guarantee you will notice a big difference. You may also want to consider exfoliating once or twice a week to help remove the dead skin from your hands so it doesn't accumulate and worsen your cracked hands. The 'Just a Minute' 60-second manicure is perfect for that (it's part of the True Blue Spa line).
