I like Warm Vanilla Sugar year-round. The only difference is that I don't often do much layering in the warmer months, preferring a lighter sugary vanilla "kiss" to my skin than a drench of scent for winter when cozying up.

Some of my faves: Wild Honeysuckle, Cherry Blossom, Mango Mandarin, Orange Ginger (AT), and sometimes Enchanted Orchid. Also, Ile de Tahiti Coconut Vanille, Exotic Coconut, Country Apple Sun-ripended Raspberry, Pearberry, Butterfly Flower

A good scent for summer ~ one of my personal favorites for summer is Mango Mandarin and Dancing Waters (really good for Spring/Summer- because it gives you a clean smell and shower fresh feeling) Pink Grapefruit and other fruity ones for summer are good. Warm Vanilla Sugar is a good scent but i like to keep that for Winter. I like vanillas in the summer along with coconut! I hope my answer helped!

currently, I am in love with the new Sherr Japanese Cherry Blossom that they just put out. It seems a bit lighter than the original and a bit more zesty, which I find great for Spring.
I also love Dancing Waters and Rainkissed Leaves for the spring because they are both fresh and clean but Dancing Waters has a light hint of floral in it that makes me feel pretty and fresh and Rainkissed leaves has a great aloe scent that to me is soothing and clean.
I also just bought another bottle of Optimism body lotion in the Aromatherapy line. I have been wearing it to help bring spring on because the light citrus scent just makes be feel happy. And I love the packaging!

WVSugar would be good it's a sweet and refreshing scent. But personally I enjoy the Romantic scents. Especially the Wild Honeysuckle; it's a fresh, clean scent that's not too strong, but at the same time not too soft. If that makes any sense. lol Also, would recommend any of the fragrances in the Freshes collection, try the Dancing Waters or Irresistible Apple.

If you have a favorite fragrance you can wear it all the time, if warm vanilla sugar is your favorite then wear it whenever! But the springy scents are usually the lighter and fun florals like cherry blossom, sweet pea, wild honeysuckle, or the new butterfly flower... or the fresh scents like sea island cotton or coconut lime verbena.

I totally do! I think all the bottles looked better the old way and it makes me almost want to clean out the bottles i have when they
're empty and put the new in the old but I think the "fragrance mist" is by far the worst of them all. With the shape of it, looks like something my cousin would get with hannah montana on it or something. The old one was simple and the picture made it look nice.

Not really. I think that the pictures make it easier to determine what scent it is, especially when the liquid's color looks similar, but I think the look of the bottle without a picture is very clean and contemporary.

My biggest complaint though is the shape. It's aesthetically pleasing, but I can't tell you how many times mine get knocked over because the base is so small compared to the rest of the bottle.

I don't think a picture would hurt, but I think the clean look is kinda nice, too. The repackaging looks stunning, they did a very good job.

Get her the Aromatherapy range of products: oil warmer + fragrance oil, sugar scrub (as this has essential oil that will diffuse when it meets the hot shower), bath soak salt or pillow mist. Eucalyptus spearmint, lavender camomile, warm milk & honey are some fragrance that will meet your mom's needs. May even meet your too.

The Aromatherapy collection has some really great stress relief/sleep products that she would probably love. If she's a bath person, I would suggest a Dream Bath and a candle in either Eucalyptus Spearmint or Lavender Chamomile. If she's looking for a quick way to de-stress, maybe the Instant Aromatherapy Roll-On. A minty foot cream (such as C.O.Bigelow's Mentha Cooling Foot Cream or Aromatherapy's Tranquil Mint) also works wonders for relaxing!

I guess it really depends on what your mom likes... but I would try the aromatherapy line! I think in terms of relaxing / changing your mood, they tend to work better than the signature line =).

I personally love B&BW's limited edition "Milk and Honey" fragrance--- it's very soothing, in lotion or bubble bath form! Lavendar Vanilla and Lavendar chamomile are good too (though the chamomile is a bit strong in my opinion.)

OR, if you're more daring... try the eucalyptus spearmint products! They smell weird at first, but do wonders for stress relief for me... and I think they got pretty good reviews from other people.

You'll want something really pampering. There are fabulous choices for a pampering, relaxing experience to be found in the Aromatherapy section. I know Mom probably doesn't have a lot of time to take a relaxing bath, but here's what I recommend.

Smell all the scents in the Sleep Aromatherapy line - Warm Milk and Honey, Black Chamomile, Lavender Vanilla, and Lavender Chamomile. If those aren't suitable, try the Stress Relief Line of Eucalyptus Spearmint or Tranquil Mint.

I would recommend getting her the Dream/Luxury Bath, a very creamy, rich, moisturizing bath milk. I'd also consider the Bath Soak mineral salts. Then I'd buy one of the candles to help add some aromatherapeutic ambiance. Follow this up with the matching Shower Gel/Bath Foam for those nights where she doesn't have a lot of time to take a relaxing bath, but rather a hot shower, and of course, finish it up with the matching Body Lotion and Pillow Mist.

She will love you forever.

what is the diffrence between body splashes, fragrance mists and Eau de Toilette

answer 1
This question has been answered several times before, but it is slightly confusing, so here goes:

Body Splashes are the cylindrical bottles of liquid that you still see near the perfume bottles in the Signature Collection. They are a light perfume that is more subtle and refreshing than it is fragrant (depending on the fragrance). It does not have the staying power that the Eau de Toilette (herein referred to as EDT) does, nor the intense favorite.

Fragrance Mist is the new name for the Body Splashes. They redesigned the packaging to make them sleeker, sexier, and simpler - the packaging has one thing on it: the name. That's it! I believe they added more fragrance oil to make them a bit stronger, as well, but I am not 100% certain. I enjoy using them as a layer - I use the shower gel, the body lotion, and layer it with the fragrance mists and perfume. That way, it stays on you all day long.

The EDT is the strongest perfume Bath and Body Works offers. It has the highest concentration of fragrance oil. It is more similar to a perfume you'd buy at a department store. There is simply no stronger perfume offered at Bath and Body Works. As well, the new packaging represents more fragrance oils, and therefore, more lasting power of the fragrance on your skin.

The Body Splash has conditioning aloe vera so it also helps moisturize. the body splash has 5% fragrance in it.

The Eau de Toilette has 30% fragrance in it so you only need like 1-3 sprays of it at most.

Also both of these work even more powerful if you use the scented moisturizer first it helps it last longer through the day as well.

Body splashes and fragrance mists are actually the same thing. BBW has changed the name of "body splash" to "fragrance mist." They are a light concentration of a fragrance, a "splash or mist," which you can spray all over. The Eau de Toilette is a stronger concentration of a fragrance, so you would use less of it. However, some splashes/mists are sometimes as strong as the EDT, so you have to try them out. Hope this helps.

A body splash or fragrance mist is a lighter version of the fragrance; like a splash of fragrance. The Eau de Toilettes are more of a perfume and are more concentrated and stay on longer than the body splashes do.

Fragrance Mist is the new name for Body Splash. They decided to change the name.

Eau De Toilette is a regular perfume. It's the concentrated version of your favorite "Fragrance Mist". The only difference is it's in a glass bottle and alot stronger. You'll use less of it and get the same effect you would when using a few sprays of the fragrance mist.

The difference is the amount of scent, usually in an oil form, each contains compared with the amount of water each contains. Body spray contains so little scented oil it is USUALLY safe to spray it on after you have dressed. Fragrance mist has more scent, and eau de toilette usually has the most scent and the least amount of water.

Body Splashes apparently are being replaced with the fragrance mists as of Dec. 1. It's basically the same product, just a different look and name, which I really like personally. So, being that a body splash and fragrance mist is the same thing, they are both a great way to freshen up in the morning, for work, after shower, or to layer on top of the lotion or body cream of the same fragrance. The Eau de Toilette on the other hand is much stronger, a lot like a perfume. The scent is much heavier and is great for a day at work or a night out because it lasts a lot longer than the body splash and fragrance mists. I use the body splash, especially after I shower (after a workout at the gym) and it makes my body and skin feel more moisturized and conditioned. The body splash and fragrance mist does need to be reapplied throughout the day, unlike the EDT, which only should require one application and lasts all day long.

answer 9
The toilette water is a less concentrated fragrance that typically contains 1-6% concentration of perfume. It is meant to be a light and short lasting fragrance, typically like a body splash or spray mist that is found in after-shower products and also found in body lotion products. The second bottle, the eau de parfum, is the most common type of fragrance. It is more expensive than the toilette water and contains typically 7-15% perfume concentrate. The third and much smaller bottle is the actual perfume itself. It is also known as extract or extrait perfume and is 15-40% concentrate. It is the most expensive version of the three and lasts the longest, and is typically used with an atomizer and/or used very lightly on pulse points to minimize the overwhelming impact they can have on the senses.

So there you go. You can now differentiate between the three types of "perfumes" that are on the market today. There is the eau de toilette, the eau de parfum and the actual, usually expensive, perfume. You should now be able to go to that fragrance counter and get exactly what you want without worrying about the differences between the three and why the smaller bottles cost so much more.

I really like the Clean Karma scrub. It's apart of the True Blue Spa line and I love it because it's a scrub that isn't too harsh for your skin it also has a White Tea scent to it. True Blue Spa's "Im in the mood for a scrub" is perfect for year round use. It's an all around scrub in the summer and winter as it preps your skin for sunless tanners in the summer and just before moisturizing in the winter. It lathers too so you don't have to use 2 different products. I also put some on my foot buffer...it helps to smooth out the feet in between pedicures! It has very little scent so it won't interfere with your perfumes and other lotions.

Could it be that your pigment just happens to be darker in those areas? My favorite body scrub is I'm in the Mood for Scrub in the True Blue Spa line. What's so great about it that it contains shea butter beads along with exfoliating beads. The shea butter beads are going to help moisturize while exfoliating, so it won't be as drying as a normal scrub. Another great thing about it is that because it lathers it can also be used a body wash!

Skin pigmentation differs from person-to-person based on a lot of factors. As a guy who works with his hands quite a lot, I find that my knuckles get a lot of dead skin and 'dirty' looking accumulation over the week. Using almost any scrub remedies this situation easily.
Personally, for your particular scenario, I would highly recommend the "There's the Rub" salt scrub in the True Blue Spa line. It is one of the grittiest scrubs Bath and Body Works carries, and is a phenomenal scrub. It may be a bit harsh for the sensitive spots you mentioned, however.
The dark spots on your skin are probably not dirt, but natural skin color pigmentation, and there is very little you can do about that. Wexler makes a wonderful Skin Brightening moisturizer that has Vitamin C and other ingrediants that naturally tone your skin and make it look one shade. There is also a fabulous product in the Murad line: Renewing Cleansing Cream (an alternate scrub that will help tone as well), but most importantly, the Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Gel. It is expensive, but if that doesn't lighten your darker pigmentation, a doctor may be the next option.

If this doesn't do the trick I would recommend a Dr. Wexler moisturiser called "skin brightening" this does contain SPF yet it levels out the pigment of the skin and works wonders for discoloration :)

There are some great new surprises coming to Bath and Body Works this fall. I got a Fall Look Book on a recent visit, and one of the pages showed that there will be fragrances like the ever-popular Leaves, Spiced Cider, and new Ginger Vanilla and Harvest Berry, in body care this year! The picture showed a Fragrance Mist and a Body Lotion, as well as a Shower Gel. All of these fragrances smell EXACTLY like fall. I cannot wait for them to come out.

Otherwise, some other nice fall scents include Warm Vanilla Sugar, Midnight Pomegranate, Irresistible Apple, Vanilla Noir, and Black Amethyst. The apple is great because it reminds me of an apple orchard, but it may be a little too sweet for fall. The others are all warm, comforting, and full of rich spices.

This fall is going to rock at Bath and Body Works- this is the most excited I've been for a fall launch so far, especially now that Shea Cashmere is back!

I love switching from summer to fall! I think because I love the scent of vanilla. :) I have smelled pretty much all of the scents, so will list what I love to wear. I tend to combine fall & winter when I choose my scents because the weather stays about the same where I am.

Warm Vanilla Sugar; Light vanilla with a yummy twist.
Black Raspberry Vanilla; Vanilla with a bit of raspberries mixed in
Japanese Cherry Blossom; Sweet, woodsy, spicy. One of my favourite's
Sensual Amber; Plain sensul, can smell a bit of vanilla, woodsy, my other favourite
Country Apple; Definately fall, smells like you are walking through an apple orchard
Classics Rice flower & Shea; Light scent, yummy. Vanilla, rice, and shea scent.
Classics White Tea & Ginger; Heavenly if you like the smell of tea.

I have tried the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin from the Classics. This would be perfect for the fall, but there isn't much pumpkin scent in it. It's more of a cranberry spice scent.

Other fall scents to try would be Midnight Pomegrante and Vanilla Noir. I love the smell of these in the bottle, but they just didn't work on my skin. :(

Good luck and fun scent shopping!

If you like floral scents, then cherry blossom, Wild Honeysuckle or white cherry blossom if you can get your hands on some. Or if you like fresh smells, Dancing waters, or white citrus. if you want something with more musk for the nighttime, Japanese Cherry Blossom is always a good one year round for nighttime. Also, for fall, most people can pull off sensual amber. Hope that helped any.

I don't strictly follow seasons as I choose a scent for my mood. But, with that said, I do love several scents for certain seasons. (keeping in mind I will wear them all no matter what time of year)

Summer:
Classics Pink Grapefruit
Sig. Sweet Pea
Pink Fruity & Bright
Ile de Tahiti Coconut Vanille
Ile de Tahiti Tiare Flower

Fall:
Classics White Tea & Ginger
Classics Rice Flower & Shea
Classics Country Apple
Sig. Japanese Cherry Blossom
Sig. Sensual Amber
Sig. Warm Vanilla Sugar
Sig. Black Raspberry Vanilla

For other scents that smell good, but don't work on my skin, would be:

Summer:
White Citrus
Mango Mandarine
Cucumber Melon

Fall:
Vanilla Noir
Midnight Pomegranate

If you have a favourite scent, I would say to wear it all year! :) I wear JCB all the time as I just love the scent. SA smells like a subtle vanilla with a kick on me, so I wear that year round as well. I do think that certain scents suit seasons better than others, but that doesn't stop me. :) Have fun with it!!!
