Shea Cashmere Body Lotion....that is my favorite and the moisture lasts on my skin all day. It has shea butter in it but not as heavy as the Lay It On Thick or some of the other shea products in True Blue Spa. Also, Grin and Bare It is not as greasy feeling as Lay It On Thick.

after you shave ,you should always put some sort of moisterizer on. the best thing to put on after shaving would be a hand and body cream or any body butter. they are both thicker than just a body lotion, so therefore the will have more moister in them to keep your skin smooth and sily after you shave.

you should always shave while you have either a shower wash or gel lathered to help prevent shaving cuts. Afterwards, any body cream (creams are the best for the winter for they have more moisturizers and are thicker, allowing them to work longer) works just fine-- it merely depends on your fragrance or tollerance or like. To help ensure that moisture remains in your skin, apply the moisturizer when your skin is still slightly wet.

There are a couple of things I would recommend for you to do in this instance. The first would be to buy the Shave the Day shaving lotion in the True Blue Spa line. It is very thick and moisturizing, and will help you get a close shave without taking any excessive moisture out of your skin.
I would also highly recommend following the shaving process with a moisturizer low in fragrance, as it will be less irritating to your skin. The product I most recommend would be the Grin and Bare It in the True Blue Spa line as well. It contains aloe and orange extract to soothe inflamed skin, and also moisturize and protect it. It is less thick than the Lay It On Thick product, so it will not leave your skin greasy, and there is very little to no fragrance to it. Stay away from anything with more than subtle fragrance notes in it or, heaven forbid, alcohol.

if it is for your face, the C.O.Bigelow barber collection has the aftershave moisterizing lotion or if thats greasy you could try the balm. Do Not use a splash on it that contains alcohol which will dry it out more. Also the shaving cream with eucalaptus oil would be very soothing to you dry skin

The newest edition to the True Blue Spa line is Shea Cashmere. The body lotion (instead of a thicker cream) will be a great moisturizer and make ou feel silky smooth, not greasy.

I recommend using a body cream or body butter from the signature collection. Or use something from the True Blue Spa collection. Apply it right after you get out of the shower. Pat yourself dry and apply your body cream while still in the moist bathroom. This will lock in the moisture all day even in the dry winter.

I would say use body lotion instead of cream. The lotion does not leave that greasy feeling once it dries like the cream does, in my opinion. Perhaps body splash would help moisturize a bit as well.

Well, everyone sees a fresh clean scent as something different. Some see it as a light fragrance.. some see it as a flower or fruity scent. Some good fresh clean scents that I would say are fresh and clean are sea island cotton (one of my favs), cucumber melon, dancing waters, and freshwater cucumber.

What is perceived as a "fresh, clean scent" will vary amongst people, widely. BBW divides their current Signature scents into 4 divisions, including one called the Freshes. Now, mind you, that is only a small piece of the picture; there are 3 other categories, not to mention Signature Classics, and BBW's True Blue Spa and CO Bigelow. So I wouldn't limit myself to just that single category. I can give you an example why.

I enjoy the scent of freshly-cleaned laundry straight from the dryer. It is fun to put on the great smelling clothes, especially if it's chilly outside and the clothes are still warm, right? But the scent doesn't last. Who would want to smell like laundry detergent all day long? But that is precisely what several reveiwers have to say about one of the fragrances in the Freshes, and I agree. I recommend taking a bit of time looking at reviews and sampling with your nose (mostly the latter). Myself and others have found many of the Freshes to be dissapointing, if not offensive. Sometimes the fragrances are well-intentioned, just too strong (true for some fragrances in all categories I would say).

There are many other good options from BBW that I would ask you to not overlook. Aromatherapy has some lovely clean scents, from the energizing Orange Ginger, to the relaxing Eucalyptus Spearmint.

True Blue Naked has just come out with a lightly scented line. And True Blue Spa's other great products offer many great scents that are fresh and perfect for summer, many with a bit of coconut or citrusy theme.

And don't forget CO Bigelow. A great source of natural ingredients. Probably best known for their very fresh and stimulating lemon line of products, and their tingly freshing Mentha line of products. COB makes amazing quality products not just for the body, but for the face and hair too, not to mention lip care and specific remedies, etc. Their current edition of lemon-line and lemon-pomegranate combo products (in body washes, a scrub, a body souffle, and a body cream) are absolutely heavenly with a great fresh fruity scent that is never overpowering.

Of course, I can never forget BBW's newest to the Signature line-up, White Citrus. And don't be afraid to look outside the bounds of the Freshes. You'll find nice clean scents amongst florals like Cherry Blossom (Wild Honeysuckle is great, too, but a little stronger). Ile de Tahiti (which may be seasonal, not sure) has two delightful scents. Coconut Vanille is perfect for summer, a light coconut scent blended with Tahitian vanilla. Then there is Tiare Flower, very similar to Gardenia in fragrance. In Signature Classics, fabulous light and fresh scents are Green Clover & Aloe, Water Blossom Ivy, Rice Flower & Shea, and Juniper Breeze (a special thanks to my fellow reviewers who turned me on to Green Clover & Aloe and Water Blossom Ivy, with my having been so dissapointed with the Signature Freshes, you've blessed me with two great new scents to enjoy!). The Classics are named as such for a reason-tried and true.

There are no wrong answers to a question like this, so I ask you not to think of it in that way. If it sounds like I am disputing any other posts made or to be made, that is not my intent. I only desire to share a breadth of information in the hopes that it may help you, and anyone else who reads this. In the end, sample what you can in your area store(s). Classics are only sold online, but if you dislike them they can be returned to any store for a refund (just take your receipt). Of course any store purchase can be returned, but at least you will be able to smell it first. Head for the sink(s)-there they usually have the Signature shower gels and matching lotions out. If you see something else you want to try, like a scrub, just ask and they will break out a tester. Some products they can send home samples with you. The possibilities are endless! Best of luck!

Bath and Body Works divides their fragrances into four distinct families: The Cuddlers, The Romantics, The Sexys, and The Freshes.

If you're looking for a clean, fresh fragrance, you'll want to spend some time looking at The Freshes.

Sea Island Cotton: I personally love this scent. It isn't very perfumy, and some people say it smells like clean sheets. It's very light and sterile-smelling. It's quite nice and very refreshing for summer, especially if you don't want something too perfumy.

Dancing Waters: This is pretty good, too. It's a clean, but perfumey fragrance that has some Lily of the Valley in it. It's what you'd think of by the name.

Rainkissed Leaves: Very natural. It seriously does smell like being in a garden or forest after a spring rain. Also nice because it's not really a perfumy scent.

Coconut Lime Verbena: Nice if you don't mind the bite of lime. The coconut, to me, is almost nonexistent, but the lime and verbena are certainly predominant.

Cucumber Melon, Irresistible Apple and Mango Mandarin: Pretty self-explanatory. Very perfumy. If you like fruit, you'll like them. Not my cup of tea, personally.

White Citrus: I would highly recommend this one. It just came out not long ago and has some ginger and grapefruit in it. It's got a zesty bite to it that makes it one of the most refreshing scents Bath and Body Works offers. If you liked Pink Grapefruit, you'll probably love this.

Hope this helps your decision-making!

If you like fruity, vanilla scents than you might enjoy the Pink in Fruity & Bright. It has a subtle smell of blackberries and vanilla. It sounds like it would be a warmer scent, but I found it to be quite crisp and happy. The best thing for me is that is that the scent lasts all day. I love it. :)

I like the new white citrus. The first thing i notice is the lemon-grapefruit notes. At first, i wasn't too keen on it, but it has grown on me. I'm not sure if I would wear it as a fragrance, but i definitely plan to purchase the shower gel, anti-bac soaps, and the wallflowers. It's one of those scents that makes a great transition to home fragrance.

As soon as I tried it, it reminded me of another scent, but I'm puzzled as to which one. It reminded me of Coconut Lime Verbena, but not exactly. I think it will be ok for summer, but maybe would be better mixed with a bit of floral. The description says lilly is in this scent, but I can really only smell the lime.

I tried this today in the store I liked the mist it smells very fresh I might use the mist during the summer months. They have something new called cool mist in this scent I lreally like this and I imagine it would be great on those hot days and I hope they offer it in other scents. I also used the gentle foaming soap in this scent it's really clean and great for the kitchen. The lotion in this scent is awefull in my opinion, it smells like Mr. Clean or Pine Sol. But i enjoyed the frag. mist and hand soap.

I've tried the body lotion samples and I love it! It mostly has the scent of fresh limes, and is very fresh and clean. BBW lists lemon and grapefruit amongst the "notes" but honestly I don't smell much except for the limes. It does have a little "zing" to it. From the ginger flower note? Can't wait for it to hit the stores!

The White citrus has a very fresh, light, bright, summer scent. Its eye opening and refreshing. I got the travel size lotion now, but for the summer I will get the shower jel and the lotion and will use them after going to the beach or anytime I need a refreshing burst.

I reccomend this to you if you like citrus scents.

As many people have mentioned, to layer you can use an exfoliator and/or shower gel first, then lotion/body cream second, then the mist and/ior edt last. The reason to layer the fragrance is to get the longest lasting scent. If this is what you want to do, I may have a couple more tricks for you. After you get out of the shower, you may want to apply your lotion or body cream within 5 mins of getting out of the shower. This is so your skin really absorbs the lotion to the fullest extent. If you want the strongest scent, apply body cream. Not only is it thicker, but if you put the body cream on your legs, throughout the day you will get nice "wiffs" of the scent because the scent will rise from your legs up to your nose. Also, to make your scent last as long as possible, spritz on your mist right after applying the lotion, it will really help to lock in your scent! I hope these tips help :)

the lotion should go on first, to help create a base for the fragrance mist.

Ideally, the best way to layer fragrance is to use the shower gel to moisturize and leave a light scent on the skin. Then follow with lotion all over immediately after you dry off, it will lock in the moisture better and the lotion will be able to do its job better. Then over the lotion, apply fragrance mist. If you want more "oomph", apply eau de toilette as well. Hope this helps!

Layering is a term that Bath & Body works likes to use. When they refer to layering it is not just the mist and lotion it is also the body wash or shower gel in the same fragrance. You start with cleansing, then moisturing and then mist. Not only will your skin feel great but also when you layer the fragrance will last longer because of the oils not only in the lotion but also in the body wash.

answer 8
The lotion.

In usual order:

Exfoliate (if needed, usually 2-3x/wk)
Shower gel or bubble bath (your scent)
Pat dry
Lotion/body cream/body butter (your scent; thickness depends on your skin dryness)
Fragrance mist/body splash (your scent)
EDT (your scent)

This is a full layering, which may not be desired at all times. Your desired depth and strength of scent will dictate how much of the list you cover. For the lightest level of scent, shower gel and body lotion would suffice, maybe with a little splash of fragrance from your fragrance mist (formerly know as body splash).

answer 1
Butterfly Flower smells a lot like Wild Honeysuckle, although I'd never mistake one for the other blindfolded. They are similar, yet distinct, fragrances.

Butterfly Flower has no Honeysuckle in it. The reason it reminds us of Honeysuckle fragrance is that the two fragrances share some of the same "notes" and other "notes" are very similar. Yet there are enough differences, like I said, to tell them apart. For me, BF is like Honeysuckle with the top note of tangerine quite evident and pleasing to the nose. That's my simplest answer of what it smells like.

When I first opened the bottle, I immediately thought of Plumeria and Enchanted Orchid, very strong floral. However, when I put it on my skin after a couple of minutes it definately softened and became a lighter floral, a bit reminiscent of the original Honeysuckle, but with a twist. If you like florals, I think you would definately enjoy this fragrance, it seems great for spring! If you are unsure, I would definatley recommend going into a store and smelling it first from the bottle and then smelling it on your skin. Because of your body chemistry, the scent may change once it's on your skin.

If I was allowed to choose the best Classics scent, it would be a toss up between White Tea & Ginger and Rice Flower & Shea. Although, Country Apple is pretty yummy, too!

I prefer moonlight path personally. The freshes include like the other users said; mango, apple, rainkissed leaves, sea island cotton and others. The romantics include cherry blossom, blushing cherry blossom, sweet pea..and others..they're really fresh. so you have to ask yourself...what do category do you think you'll like best..before you can ask what the best fragrance is! :)

That's kind of funny. I read the description of Sensual Amber and ordered some because I love musks. I got it and can't stand the scent. It smells too much like super sweet sugar cookies and actually made me gag.

Black Amethyst I love. It is very strong at first, I catch strong patchouli notes, but it fades to a pleasant scent a few minutes later.

Blushing Cherry Blossom was initially released in Spring 2008. It's a lot like the regular Cherry Blossom, very floral, light, and refreshing, but it almost has a sweet, citrus-like fragrance to it.

It is certainly unique, and fit in wonderfully with White Cherry Blossom, Japanese Cherry Blossom, and the regular Cherry Blossom.

It is very nice smelling and floral, with just a twinge of a sweet citrus.

Blushing Cherry Blosson smells kind of like a cross of cherry blossom and white cherry blossom. If you like either one of those, you should like it. They had it in stores over the summer, but I recently realized it was no longer in stores

I wore sweet pea at that age. I would stick with the fruit scents or the flowery scents. Some of the others can get really heavy.

answer 7
I would definitely consider Sweet Pea or Cucumber Melon almost exclusively.

If that's not your taste, try some of the other fruitier scents like Mango Mandarin or things like that.

Sweet Pea and Cucumber Melon definitely seems to be the best choice, though!

I am 23 and I think that one fragrance that stands out to me is Coconut Lime Verbena because it sends me instantly to the beach. It doesnt take much of it though when you put it on. Another classic is Winter Candy Apple. It has sexy, classy and fresh all in one. I personally don't like smelling like a cookie, a peice of chocolate, or a pepermint. Those things seem like they should be eaten ,not really worn, but thats me.

I think most of the scents are good for any adult woman. I'm in my early 20s and I use cherry blossom, japanese cherry blossom, midnight pomegranate, sensual amber, sweet pea, Enchanted Orchid and Exotic Coconut.

I think it is more important that the young woman smells the fragrance on themselves. Because of body chemistry, each scent smells different on different people. Also, perfumes/ fragrance mists smell different over time. This is mentioned by notes on the fragrance pages.

It depends on where you at in life. If you have a professional job, a lot of times the heavier or stronger fragrances are looked down upon. Even though Japanese Cherry Blossom, Vanilla Noir, and Black Amethyst are all strong, they are very professional and sophisticated.

If you're still in that part of your life where you like to have fun and don't want to grow up too soon, Sweet Pea or Cucumber Melon is the way to go. There's a reason they've been classics for so long.

Other than that, it's simply a matter of discerning which fragrance family suits you best. The fresh and clean scents, the exotic, sexy fragrances, the fruity fragrances, or the floral fragrances.
